The one that Obama sent back was on-loan from the Brits and was not an outright gift, though I suspect the loan was considered open-ended, and could have lasted forever. But it seems there may be one or more other busts of Churchill in and around the White House, which may actually belong to the United States. There are so many hurt feelings around the White House, that it's hard to get an idea of where they are. Somebody will just have to take a guided tour and find the old gent.
