What would it take to make this knife usable?

A little grinding.
Re shape the belly up to the tip and even out the bevel.

Thank you, so this should be worth $10.00, as that is what the person is asking?

Oh yeah! It's worth $10. Does it have a sheath? I'd give $10.00 for it without a sheath, but they are handy and you will need something to keep it in. That could add a little to the cost in the long run if you have to buy one.
I always liked a little more curve in the blade on that style knife and finishing that one out like michiganroadkill suggested would be a plus to me.

It would also make a nice drop-point by grinding the top to the tip. IMO

Thattsa what I done on a buck 110 with a bit of missing tip. Just grind the swayback out of it...

I fix knives alot. The original pic at the top - hold a straightedge like a business card etc. up to the spine on your screen. It will look good.
