Hey guys,

Getting some 190 CC's to try from a friend in my .300wm. Just curious as to whether people have had better results from seating them deep or close to the lands? Also going to try some 178 AMAX and was wondering the same thing? Going to be using RL22 and AR2213SC (ADI powder, sorry don't know the US equivalent.)

Rifle is a 1/10 twist 26 incher. Should it in theory prefer the heavier bullet due to the twist rate? If the CC's shoot, ill only be using them for informal target shooting between 500-1000. IF i get the amax going well ill probably try and hit a deer with one.

They shoot great in my savage 308 LE series rifle about 20k off the lands....but that gun is not fussy about most any ammo.

I've only used the 6.5 140 Nosler CC, but in several rifles it's proven very easy to get to shoot when seated just off the lands.

I have both and shot both. Start 20 off with both. They have a MK profile and are pretty forgiving

One of the guys at work shoots them and said the same thing. Ill start 15-20 off the lands and see how I go.
