Hard cast Cowboy Action RNFP bullets. Here is a search and results on CAS bullets. I use the 125 grain bullets from Missouri Bullet co. , here is the one I like:
http://www.missouribullet.com/details.php?prodId=163&category=5&secondary=17&keywords=

I load the 125 grain RNFP over 6 grains of Unique or 5 grains of Bullseye fired by Winchester or CCI Small Pistol primers for right at 1,000-1,025 fps out of a 3" barrel revolver. They are actually a touch too fast for CAS but I don't compete any more and I like shooting that load.

Cast wadcutters, start with about 4 gr of Bullseye in magnum cases, don't got over 3.5 gr in 38 Spl cases. You'll probably need to tweak things a bit for sight alignment. Lyman has data for full power 357 wadcutter loads, some are pretty exciting. Don't use these numbers with hollowbase wadcutters.

What kinda snubbie you shooting them out of.... One of the little light weights like a S&W 342 will have a lot more recoil than a 3" Model 65...

I like the Berry's plated bullets...come in 125-158 grains. They also have a plated 148 Hollow Base Wadcutter that you can run HP up or down...

Some cases have enough interior taper that a wadcutter can bulge them. Double-ended WC's are shorter and work better for such uses IMHO. My solution is a plated DEWC over enough TiteGroup to get a theoretical 900 fps. A slower powder would get you closer to 1000, but I doubt you'd actually get that much velocity from a 2". If you want 1000fps from a snubbie, the light RNFP TLEE suggested is your best bet, which isn't surprising since it came from Terry. If you can live with less velocity, there are many, many choices. As always, YMMV.

I've been shooting a lot of plated bullets from X-treme Bullets for mid range velocities. They leave a clean bore and are less expensive than other brands.

im going to adjust my criteria and say that. i wish to spend between 16 and 35 dollars per hundred bullets. that leaves me between the remington semu jacketed bullets and the speer gold dots and remington golden sabers.

Wow. I didn't realize that some people still buy bullets. When did they get this expensive?

I've been shooting the 170 gr Keith, but there are some 125 gr, and 150 gr flat points here too. Good pricing and flat-rate $12.00 shipping.
