Lawyers' most dominant concern is lack of oversight. Darn near every day
lawyers are arrested, and it seems most are good for crimes of moral turpitude and worse.
Exacerbating lawyers dismal public acceptance is their penchant for rationalizing bad behavior in what, when analyzed, is nothing more than BS that's disguised to resemble reason and logic. It's as though law schools teach budding legal practitioners how sling BS with English that dupes the naive in to believing it's intellectually sound. Stare decisis is one such intellectually weak BS scam of lawyers. Some moron rationalizes BS & other lawyers worship it as though it's gospel. Apparently these shysters, er, I mean lawyers never heard of erroneously conclusions derived from erroneous premises.
A woman I know used to be married to a top tier law school million-dollar-a-year lawyer. He used to routinely tell her that all lawyers lie, which was not revealing. So much for ethics...
