Never have used these primers.
Anyone have issues with them?

Yep.
3 misfires in 3 rifles (.257 Bee hand-load, .375 H&H factory load, .243 with a factory load) on the same hunt. Tossed them in the bin when I returned home and never used one since, nor will I.

Those rifles never misfired before or since that weekend.

Of all the primers, these have the hardest cup. They are really good with very high pressure loads, but only with a firing pin which has lots of energy. On the other hand, if you use these developing loads, don't try to guess pressures from primer appearance. They will fool you.

I use RP 9 1/2M primers in all RP brass and WLR primers in all Winchester brass. I don't have a problem with either. Never had a misfire. (knock on wood)

I have used RP 9 1/2 std as well with no problems.

The RP magnums made several loadings shoot more accurately.

I would imagine you could find a story like Aussie Gun Writers for every brand of primer.

You're probably right but that is my only story on primer performance.

I had never used them until I ran into a problem barrel on a 338 Jamison. Tried everything until a friend at the local, range who had at one time been in the gun business, suggested I try the 9�'s. He brought me an article showing the flash at ignition and they were the primer with the biggest flash. Tried them and, voila, gun went from patterns to groups with multiple powders. Have never had misfires, even in other guns where I've tried them. Not afraid of them in any manner but I lean to Federals mostly though I try them all.

Using them for my 300WSM loads, no issues at all.
