I don't know much about these. Is it drilled and tapped for one of those side scope mounts?

And how would you describe the trigger pull/let off?

Trigger pull is a bit rough, but not that hard to get used to. Yes factory d/t. For scope or peep.

That was my first deer rifle right there, only without the fancy white spacers and all. Kept that rifle in the family for all four of us boys to hunt with. I think my old man paid $40 for it at the corner service station...with a box of shells. It's gone. He's gone. My brothers are all gone. The service station's gone. But I remember them all fondly. Thanks for the memories.
