Wouldn't a M1999 fit with a minimum of effort? I thought they required the same, or very similar, inletting as the M70?

The inletting for the receiver has to be lengthened a bit. The front receiver ring is longer on the 1999.

The Edge Win stock will fit a MRC but requires more work, and some material build up in tang area. The bolt release area needs some material removed as well. Mcmillion would not reinlet them when I asked. Its doable not a drop in at all. Bolt needs relief and results in more gap.
