West Texas had lots of rain this year! If that is a free ranging west Texas elk, then nothing to Bi ch about. Wish that was me in the picture! As stated in the story, even though it is a free ranging, wild elk, this bull can not be entered in B&C. We are trying to get Texas to recognized wild west Texas elk as a "game animal" but too many exotic ranches have captive high fenced elk and don't want their status messed with, so it probably won't happen. But I was personally on a capture/collar trip on these elk in West Texas and they are indeed wild and free ranging.

That's a shame. I'm not that familiar with the Davis Mtns. but I always thought they were a good bit dryer than the land in the photo??

I think I really need to make some friends in West Texas.

Ok... Barrel donut, bubba buddy, Ultraby Magnum, Hubble scope and probably some corn. Fenced? I know there are wild elk in the Davis Mtns, so I'll give him that, but his taste in rifle gimmickry is kinda fun.

Wow that's an amazing bull; kudos to the hunters. Shame it can't be entered in the books.

A- You missed the closed bolt pointed at the headless hunters - which blew their heads clean off during the photo.

The rubber gadgets, though ugly, can do good...
I don't own one but at least they are not gimmicks like 90% of the other stuff out there for sale. I'd rather have to use one of those, than camo....
Great bull.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
