Well, yes for a regular later 99F I would agree, but this is the fabled 1964 1/2 284F, the sub set of the sub set of the sub category of 99F's!!!!

Why doesn't it have a step in the barrel where the rear sight mounts? I thought all F's had that. Rebarrel?

Looked like a buy to me, rather have it at that price than the clip c model at $1200. as they have been pricing them. Just needed little TLC and Snake Oil. GW
