What are the details of your sons' rifle and are you using the new thicker jacket BTs?
Elk Country His gun is a Remington 300 Ultra-mag. He shoots 200 grain accubonds in it and it too, has a Noreen muzzle brake. I am using the later 50 count boxes of Baliistic Tips that are a heavier jacket for bigger game like elk. They do work well...

Congrat's Shrapnel! mtcurman, we're sorta neighbors then. We have a piece of ground on Lower River Road, just south of Tin Can Hill Road at Haley Coulee.
