I've had my fun with it-now it's someone else's turn.
It came to me used with a gray coating that I didn't care for. Polished it off and cold blued it. Came out pretty good but isn't the deep gloss bluing that TC is known for.
We immediately punched it to a K-Hornet with a Manson reamer. I stamped the lug only, all the factory lettering is still present and unaltered.
Shot pretty good overall. It seemed to favor Sierra 40gr HP and either AA1680 or VV N110. Also did well with 35gr VMax.
According to my records, the last 4 groups I shot with it at 100 yards(5 shots)averaged 1.4 inches. On occasion it would shoot under an inch.
Full disclosure: I didn't get the best brass life; about 3-4 loads and would get stretch rings.
It was a fun project.
Comes with a Weaver base. D&T for a front sight but none included.
