I've had exceptional luck with 40 S&W loads and Longshot. Hodgdon's 10mm data looks good there as well. Longshot has been consistent very in the 40 from weak loads to serious hammers.
I belong on eroding granite, among the pines.

The SF and non-SF frames are both Gen3. No SF for the gen4, because the gen4 frame is already shortened like the SF.

So what after market barrel is the best, 6 inch. I use the Wolf on my Glock 20
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

I have a KKM six inch for my 20, but don't use it much. I use the regular length KKM barrel mostly. FWIW, KKM barrels over my ProChrono: Armscor 180gr FMJ - 6.0 Barrel 1,173 fps 1,164 fps 1,134 fps 1,171 fps AVG: 1,161 fps FPE: 539 ft-lbs Double Tap 155gr XPB (1,400fps) - 6.0 Barrel 1,255 fps 1,273 fps 1,314 fps 1,278 fps 1,294 fps AVG: 1,283 fps FPE: 567 ft-lbs CorBon 180gr BCSP (1,300fps/676fpe) - 6.0 Barrel 1,194 fps 1,238 fps AVG: 1,216 fps FPE: 591 ft-lbs Double Tap 200gr WFNHC (1,300fps) - 6.0 Barrel 1,266 fps 1,249 fps 1,238 fps 1,226 fps 1,233 fps AVG: 1,242 fps FPE: 685 ft-lbs Double Tap 200gr WFNHC (1,300fps) - 4.6 barrel 1,190 fps 1,151 fps 1,200 fps 1,189 fps AVG: 1,183 fps FPE: 622 ft-lbs Buffalo Bore 180gr JHP (1,350 fps) - 6.0 Barrel 1,386 fps 1,381 fps 1,391 fps 1,383 fps 1,370 fps AVG: 1,382 fps FPE: 763 ft-lbs Buffalo Bore 180gr JHP (1,350 fps) - 4.6 barrel 1,334 fps 1,311 fps 1,279 fps 1,280 fps AVG: 1,301 fps FPE: 677 ft-lbs Buffalo Bore 200gr FMJ FN (1,210 fps) - 6.0 Barrel 1,215 fps 1,225 fps 1,212 fps 1,213 fps 1,219 fps AVG: 1,217 fps FPE: 658 ft-lbs Buffalo Bore 200gr FMJ FN (1,210 fps) - 4.6 barrel 1,173 fps 1,182 fps 1,167 fps 1,150 fps 1,162 fps AVG: 1,167 fps FPE: 605 ft-lbs Buffalo Bore 220gr HC FN (1,200 fps) - 6.0 Barrel 1,213 fps 1,190 fps 1,207 fps 1,200 fps 1,197 fps AVG: 1,201 fps FPE: 705 ft-lbs Buffalo Bore 220gr HC FN (1,200 fps) - 4.6 Barrel 1,173 fps AVG: 1,173 fps FPE: 672 ft-lbs

Congratulations! I think you will like the gun and especially the caliber. There are some handload formulas that will push a 180gr bullet the same speed that a 6 inch 357 pushes a 125. No there are not! Not at any pressure close to safe. I have chronographed BB factory 158'out out of my model 19 6" at 1400 FPS and that is faster than a 38,000 PSI loaded 10mm 180 grain bullet. A 125 grain in a 357 is even faster.
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first
