I have an extra 77 tang safety stock that is glass bedded at the front of the action. I would like to use the stock for a different action than the one that it was bedded for. Would skim bedding do the job or should I remove the majority of bedding and start over?

Remove the majority of the bedding and start fresh. You don't have to remove the old stuff entirely. Good luck with it Pieter..
