Since I've got your attention. Aside from the factory target accu-trigger, is there any really fine two stage trigger that you've personally tried. My preference is a long light initial takeup with a solid rear wall that would break around 2lbs. Any lighter than that has always felt risky. Prefer something I can get a little pressure against that then breaks free and clean.
My factory target accu-trigger isn't bad, but it's no Jewell.

Nothing to add here, other than I'm really enjoying this thread.

And THEN... there was silence
No trigger recommendations for lowly Savage shooters. I was expecting at least one, if even just one comment about dropping the Savage for XYZ super shooter and Mach X1000 trigger group at the sultry low price of only my first born child.
Sad face.

It will show you that you are seeing what all of us have seen that have a few rounds or more under our belts.

My factory target accu-trigger isn't bad, but it's no Jewell. I came on this a little late . But S/S makes a great trigger for Savage Rifles. http://www.sharpshootersupply.com/
