Yes. One of my Whelen's is an original M77RS and its 22" barrel goes .560". It is in a Bansner stock. I have another, a rebored J.P. Sauer pre-war Mauser that goes the same at 25". Cliff LaBounty, a legend in reboring, did a few for me over the years. He would go no less than .10" a side at the muzzle.

Excellent. The Shilen 3 is .625 at 24". So thet will leave a little more meat but should still be plenty light with an Edge stock.
