You need some of the slowest burning powder that is available. I would shy away from Ball Type powders. This chamber has .400 freebore and ball types can and will cause dents in your casings. This is a longer freebore then any Weatherby which only have .378 freebore length. Long boattailed bullets may cause accuracy problems as well.

When I ran one, it was retumbo + 160 partitions or Accubonds....3300+ ....
If I ran one now, probably would run the 168 ABLR + retumbo.

Yeah, I'd be using Retumbo, RL25 or RL33 if I was loading for the 7mm RUM.
