Here's a scenario to consider: what if they wind up with identical records? Suppose that the NFL will take its cue from College's Select Committee and eliminate both of them from the play-offs? (I know that it doesn't work that way.)

They have a formula that just keeps going down the line until they are not tied. Heck, it could even go to points scored in the season.

They meet in the last regular season game... Detroit beat GB at home... next game is in GB.

GB "plays" Tampa Bay next... If they lose that game they will have to go back to blowing Buffaloes for a nickle a herd just to regain their self-respect.

Detroit on the other hand is in Chicago this coming week and there is no telling which team will show for that game...

This was intended to tweak "The Committee".

When I am packing I carry at least a 38 special for lions, though I often carry a T/V in 35 Remington because it feels so good.

The NFC North will come down to this game, as most had predicted all season. It would have been nice for the Packers to lock up home field advantage, but you can't have everything.

Just remember folks, the Lions haven't won in Lambeau field since 1991.

Since we've headed in this direction, does anyone else remember the 1962 game in Tiger Stadium? Only Packer loss that season took place exactly one year prior to the Kennedy assassination (for the history buffs).

Lions had a tough time beating the Queens last weekend. Packers are going to win the rematch...
