This was a factory built CVA Hawken and I stripped the stock down, got it pretty, did a custom stain and oil finish. I also installed a brand new, never been fired, 28" .50cal barrel with 1-66" twist rifling. This is going to be one awesome round ball shooter without a doubt! A new #11 Hot Shot nipple was also added.

Double set triggers have been polished and lightly greased. The lock has also been polished to reduce drag and make for an almost custom lock feel when you cock it and put it to work.

As always, I bedded the tang and trigger plate so they are rock solid.

On the barrel I added custom .050" German silver front blade sight and a Marlin 80 style rear elevator sight so you can tune it out to at least 150 yards, depending on the load you use. Barrel was slow rust browned for a nice dark chocolate look.

Custom sling studs have been added and yes, the sling does come with the rifle. Its a great addition for the hunter! Beats the heck out of the sling I use on my hawken that just slips over the stock and hurts your shoulder.

This is an awesome CVA Hawken with great looks and most importantly, great accuracy.

You can find the CVA Hawken all day long with the 1:48" twist, but this 1-66" twist barrel is super rare to find on this rifle.
