Gentlemen,

My question is this: Has anyone ever seen one and would it be possible to have one built. Before we get started, I do realize .357 Mag leveractions are quite common and the ballistic difference would be very close, but I would like one out of pure "want". I use the .357 Sig for most of my handgun purposes and I think a hand little trapper size lever gun would be the greatest. I would like to have continunity between my handgun and rifle rounds. Anyhow, just throwing it out there to see what y'all think

Wow. I thought I had weird tastes! I've been contemplating building up a little bolt gun in .401 Win S.L. A lever gun in Sig would certainly be interesting but I can't think of anything that could easily be converted. Wonder if an old Ruger Police Carbine semi-auto in .40 could be rebarreled and made to function? The pressure differences may be an issue.
