i just bought one. Price was right. They seem to have some good reviews from what I have seen.

Does anyone have one, and how is it?

I'll likely be picking one of these up with the threaded barrel.

I took it to the range today, sweet. It functioned perfectly and seemed to be plenty accurate at 5-10 yards.

I don't think you'll find any negatives, a sweet little gun.

Pros:
Light and compact
Adjustable sights
Firing pin block safety
Ambidextrous safety and magazine release

Cons:
DA/SA operating system
Ours has malfunctions with bulk pack of all types, although it works 100% with Mini Mags and like
Safety is "backwards" compared to traditional DA/SA safety and 1911
Magazine seating can be quirky and require it to be pushed forward at base

I think it is an OK gun but not an awesome gun.

The decocking lever is no different in operation than say a Beretta 92.

Correct, but it is frame mounted rather than slide mounted. A frame mounted 1911 safety is pushed down to deactivate the safety rather than up. Most DA/SA safety setups requiring a push up to deactivate the safety are located on the slide. The SR22 is the only gun of which I am aware that operates the way it does, and I think it would be confusing and error prone in an emergency. Now, I realize it is not the type of gun I would be likely to be carrying in a true emergency, which is the reason I am ok with the gun. I also gave one to a niece, and it is her only gun and she is not likely to get confused by it.

I keep mine in the red... The DA trigger pull seems completely adequate to not bother with the backwards safety. I use it as a decocking lever when needed and then immediately thumb it back up to red for carry.

No way I'd use one with the backward safety, then have to "retrain" again on a carry gun.

I bought one for my wife a few yrs back. We didn't like it much for a while. It jammed a lot. After talking to a few people including REDNECK we figured my wife was not holding the gun tight ,or choking the gun and it made the gun snap back and it absorbed the kick when it fired. Holding the gun tight almost completely stopped the jamming. Along with better bullets we are happy and with a better hold on the gun with both hands she can shoot an 8"x12" paper without missing at least 30 times in a row. Very nice , light, handy gun. The best part is , she is more confident when it's in her hand and sais she will feel safer when I'm gone. That is worth every penny of $370 .

The only issue I have with mine is getting it away from my boys when we go shooting! Last time we went out they each grabbed a mag and just traded off shooting it. It does require a good hold and solid form, which I like for teaching my boys how to shoot.

Did a little shed hunting the other day and got a half dozen ground squirrels with mine.

Great little guns.
Mine (so far) likes everything I've run in it except Win 333's!
They'd shoot, barely eject and fail to feed constantly......
