I've used a lot of binoculars with great optics, but hinges and focus adjustments that went out of whack every time you didn't actually have your hands on them. That definitely isn't true with the Trijicon, the real world price is a little under $700 for the 8x42 and a little over for the 10x42.

I just checked them at Optics Planet.Under $500 for the 8X42 and under $700 for the 10X42.Great prices.

I have an inexpensive pair of Minox from CameralandNY and have been very happy with them. Much better than some of the other equally prices binos I have looked through.

A very good point that's not discussed much. I've looked thru a few pair of Alpha glass that just didn't work with my eye sockets. I really like winged eye cups to elimanate stray light from the sides too.

When a store near you has a sale on go there and look through what they have.

Select the pair you like and see best with!

That's what happens at the eye doctor. "Which lens do you see best with? A or B?" cool

Vortex 10x42 Diamondbacks aren't too shabby if you need to go cheap.
