Walked into the LGS today after not visiting for a few months. Couldn't believe my eyes, they had H4895. I have not seen this on the shelf in any LGS in the area or online for close to five years. I had resigned to believe my designated hitter for my two 8x57's would never see H4895 again. I had given up hope.

Their powder sits where you can see it as you walk in the door. I spied, but wasn't sure, the color of some Hodgden cans that could be the mythical H4895. Could it be, I said to myself, surely not. I must be seeing things. I'm not drunk or dreaming. Did I step back in time possibly? I crept over carefully as to not scare it, quickly grasping the can. It appeared to be H4895. I had to shake it to be sure it was not a display model or some evil ruse. It had powder in it. A total of six cans. I looked at ole boy behind the counter speechless and he said as long as you leave one. I scooped up five cans for purchase.

It's been a long wait, sorry had to share that.

Aw cmon Paul, there you go telling stories again. Next you'll be telling us a 223 will kill a deer or that a 30-06 kicks too much or that 270's are gay. laugh

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

They must have just done a run of it.

Three or four different guys had in in quantity at the gun show today.
