Up for sale is my pre-64 (525XXX/1961) Model 70 Varmint in .243 Win. with Unertl 12X Ultra Varmint scope. Rifle and scope are in excellent condition. No noteworthy marks on the metal and but a couple of minor scrapes on the wood. I have seen a few of these, but never one in the condition this one is in. The bluing hardly shows any wear anywhere. The bore looks as good as the outside. Everything appears to be original -- except the stock has a somewhat shiny finish -- I am not sure if this is original. Checkering looks great. Everything looks great! The scope is the best condition Unertl I have ever seen. I have more photos that I would be happy to email to you -- just send a PM here. I will carefully package, fully insure and ship this fine rifle to you FFL who accepts from an individual for the sum of $3100.00.
