Santorum is in the race because he was the second place runner up last time with 11 state primaries and over 4 million votes.
He was my only choice in Missouri.

Why is that even an issue worthy of comment by a presidential candidate?
This is truly an emperor with no clothes situation. Until a Republican presidential candidate has the courage to say something to the effect of "Really? Are you really that fricking stupid to ask a question like that?", then they are going to be plagued by this crap. Do it once or twice and really mock the reporter in a completely mean spirit of absolute contempt and ridicule, and it will stop. The spell will be broken.
But continue to give responses like Santorum's and there will be more "legitimate rape" landmines waiting out there for Republican candidates the idiotic news media.
