Who has mounted these tires on a Toyota Tacoma? What is your experience with them. Thanks

Mud or all-terrain version? Also, what model of Tacoma? 4cyl or V-6? Going standard size tire or one size up?
Only asking because it all makes a difference. I had two of the 3.4L 5spd older trucks with oversized tires, one being 32x11.50 and the other being 265/75/R16, and they both had no problems with daily driveability on those larger and heavier mud tires.
My current Tacoma is a 4.0 with automatic, and 265/75/16 mud tires make a difference in power and driveability, even though the 4.0 makes another 50hp or so. The programming for that engine/transimission combo is engineered for fuel economy and the shift points come on too early. I like the truck, but wish I had the 6spd manual. I recently picked up another set of wheels and now run P-rated 265/75/16 all terrain Coopers, leaving the mudders for hunting season only. The lighter tire makes a difference. Just FYI.....

Just ok, were very noisy when new, and oddly enough, get quieter when the tread wears down. Wet grip is so so, but life expectancy at the current rate of wear looks like about 35k will be it. Probably won't buy them again. These are "E" load range 18" tires on the Ram.

I had them on my 2001 Dodge 2500 cummins and they were excellent. Lasted longer than others like BFG's and Toyos on mine.
I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6!

Just FYI..... 2014 4.0 v6 automatic transmission, all terrain versions would probably be my choice. My son has the v6 6spd not sure which I prefer.

No experience with the Nittos, but have you checked out the BFG KO 2's? Picked up a set for the FJ a couple of months back. So far, I like them,but time will tell this Winter. 275/70/17 on the FJ. My Taco has the old style KO's in 265/17's. No Tacoma, have 10,000 miles on a diesel f250. So far no issues. Terra Grapplers I think? Just a mild a/t tIre. 60k warranty on them, we will see.

My Tundra is going to be needing a set of 275/65/18's in a few months. I really like the looks of the BFG's.

I chose not to buy the Terra Grapplers when I replaced the tires on my truck because they don't carry a mileage warranty - at least according to Discount Tire. I ended up with a set of the new BFG AT KO2's. I really like them so far, only about 7k miles on them though.

The KO 2's seem to be a pretty quiet tire. No noticeable noise even at highway speeds.

I put some Trail Grapplers on my 2012 Power Wagon because I'd read they lasted longer than comparable tires. They were more money and further away to get put on than the Cooper ST Maxx's I'd had on, and I'll not buy another set. They still have some life, but will not last any longer than the Coopers did, and I didn't see any improvement on road or off to justify them.

The g2 version has a treadlife warranty but the standard version doesn't based on what I read on nitto's website
