Does anyone have the recipe for the barque sauce served with the pulled pork sandwich?

Snake, here's a favorite of friends and family.

1 cup Kansas City style BBQ sauce(the darker colored the better)
1/2 cup Hunt's ketchup-mandatory
1 tablespoon McCormick lemon pepper(use only McCormicks)
1 smidge garlic salt
1 smidge onion salt
Mix well and brush on meat w/small BBQ basting brush. It will end up thick and that's the way you want it.

Works well on oven or grilled BBQ chicken, steaks on the grill, pork chops, etc.

The recipe? That's like asking for the recipe for the rub.

In SC we have 4 base recipes.

Mustard
Vinegar
Tomato
Pepper

And then you have about a million variations of each. My Mother makes one using Cheerwine.

Vinigar, mustar, catsup, butter, sugar, black pepper and salt, water, lemon juice.
Can't tell you the measurements.

Anything else aint Carolina sauce.
That mollasas chits for hiding bad BBQ.

Better brine the butt and cook it slow. When it's 190-200 drop it in an ice chest and put a weight on the lid. It'll fall apart, no chopping needed.

Thanks for the recipes. I like the barque sauce they serve with he pull pork sandwich. I going to try and make some which taste like it.
