Your nuts if you think for a second that China isn't capable of producing high quality metallurgy

I have no doubt they're capable but they are not exporting their good steel. Let's face it, we buy China because it's cheaper than US, German or Japanese. China is selling crap metal and if you think otherwise, you're a fool. I've seen too many things just snap, bend or break to think otherwise.

You get what you pay for.

I work in the injection mold industry.....28 year Journyman Mold Maker

If you want top quality metallurgy from China.......you have to pay for it and know how to buy it......simple

In the past decade alone we have ran over 400 tons of Chinese steel and mold max high hard beryllium copper through our mold shop

BTW......I am quite far from being a fool when it comes to metals from Asia

I work on their tractor parts and have used their "quality" tools and parts. See splines twist, shafts break, bend and junk just fall apart when screws either break or strip out.

Like I said, I'm sure they know how and do produce quality metals but if you think their cheap mounts are made with the same quality metal you're used to seeing, then you're thinking foolishly.

Was that easier to take?

everybody knows excellent mounts can be purchased from leapers that look just as cool in your internet pictures for 1/4 the cost.
