But wait this can't be so if .2 don't make a difference than one more little tenth surely can't Be safe

A tenth here isn't the same as a tenth there.

16bore Campfire Ranger 1 Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 17,927	I say shoot the thing at 300 yards and humble yourself. You should be able to take the load that produced the .450 group and hold it under 1 1/2". Then you won't care anymore. Then read this: How much does group size matter.
