The seller who sold me my item told me the USPS has been crazy of late. He wasn't sure if it was weather related, or what. He shipped a $2500 Luger, and it went missing. He filed a missing gun report with the BATF, and suddenly it was delivered.
But my local PO has done several flaky things. More than once I have checking tracking and the website says, "Delivery attempted, notice left" when there was no notice. I go to the PO and magically it appears. The main one here is full of temp workers. They don't know and they don't care. I suspect about 95% of them voted for Obama, as it would hold with the trend.

Same situation here. A lot of 'em don't really GAF. Mostly foreigners, these days. If you asked 'em what the Pony Express was, they'd probably ask if they backed up Pit Bull.
