Make it a capitol crime to use a non-registerd gun.
Make Pot a non crimminal offence. Regulate and tax.
And most of this would go away by itself. The courts can convict a lot of felons and judges can sentence them to death, but, for the most part, Americans don't have the will to actually carry out executions in a timely manner. I believe that the World would be a better place if possession of a firearm by a convicted felon carried a mandatory death penalty and that, once convicted, the executions would be carried out once possession was proved beyond a reasonable doubt. I would also like to see all people convicted of being a "straw purchaser" received a ten year mandatory prison sentence. There was a police officer, Kerrie Orozco, killed by a convicted felon, Marcus Wheeler, in Omaha in 2015. The straw purchaser of the gun that Wheeler used to kill Officer Orozco, Jalita Johnon, got one year of probation, 40 hours of community service, and 180 day of house arrest. Is that fair?

Pot is smoked by equal parts of the population. Only blacks are jailed 4 times as often. They get a record.. making it difficult to get a decent job, voting, a place to live etc etc..
Booze is a worse drug then Pot, and still its legal. you ASSUME these ghetto rats want a job.... they'd rather be sitting on their lazy asses, sleeping until 2PM, spending all night partying and getting high & drunk... collecting 5 or 6 welfare checks a week or more under different names.... but giving solutions about Chicago, being from some other country with Muslim problems courtesy of your liberals.... its just hard to really take seriously.... and I say that with all due respect... people are safer on the streets of Beirut than Chicago...

If they would sweep the streets and arrest anyone with an illegal gun, a whole bunch of guns would disappear over night. It's an enforcement issue, not a gun issue. We're overwhelmed with unenforced laws.

If they would sweep the streets and arrest anyone with an illegal gun, a whole bunch of guns would disappear over night. It's an enforcement issue, not a gun issue. We're overwhelmed with unenforced laws. The reality to that is, Chicago would be throwing its police force into a literal war zone and many of them would get killed. The day the police left, it would start all over again. The only way to realistically deal with it is to work to keep it contained within the black community.

It is likely that most of the killers and their victims were both of the same race. According to FBI solved homicide statistics for 2013, 90% of black victims and 84% of white victims were killed by people of their own race.
Most of the homicides in Nebraska occur in either Omaha or Lincoln and most of the homicides in those two cities are committed by black or Hispanic men against other black or Hispanic men. Most of the homicides in Omaha are gang and/or drug related.
I can't see how a dead drug dealer is ever a bad thing, rather it is a socially positive byproduct of illegal activities. Sudden violent death is a well known occupational hazard of gang membership and drug dealing, didn't Sonny and Rico make that clear to everybody in Miami back in the 80's? That tears it. Fugg chitcago. I'm dumping my 12 boxes of ammo donation on the streets of omaha.
