Yes sir

Well
We took the H4831SC and Ruger combo out to 1000 today. We went from 100 yards straight to 1000 yards. I shot 6 rounds prone at an 18" disc. I hit the disc the first shot. The next two were also hits. I got cocky and went for a fourth really quick and missed. Slowed down and the next were hits. I have to say after all the work we put into this load development maybe I shouldn't be shocked but I was very amazed at the consistency.

Thanks for the write up. The Berger website also has some interesting articles on load development for those who do not have the manual. I will have to check out the videos you mentioned. Also, where is the article you read about primer weight?

So for those guys that have been following, the ruger impresses me everytime out.
800 yards steel 3 shot. 3.25 inches

666 yards steel 3 shot. 1.5 inches.

Pictures attached.

Also when I shot these groups, I didn't sort the primers so it probably doesn't matter that much for steel. I think the group size at that distance is pretty good so makes a guy wonder if he would really need to

Russ and I just learned something. I think I have been totally discounting some bullets that might have shot really well but were 1.3-1.4 stability so never got the chance. Anyways must read

Remember, slightly marginal stability can result in a couple percent reduction in BC, but the precision of the bullets will be unaffected until the stability factor (SG) drops below 1.1. You can use the Stability calculator below to calculate the stability of this bullet in your conditions based on barrel twist and muzzle velocity.

Bingo! Guys, we have the tools and articles on our website you need to help you make good choices. The APPLIED BALLISTICS website is another great source of information to use for finding help with long range shooting in general. And we are here for any questions you may have.
Thank you !
