If you're a pre-64 Winchester M70 fan, you're going to like this book. It's a great supplement to Roger Rule's Rifleman's Rifle. This is a 1st Ed, in 9+/10 condition (the pages are very crisp), and is signed by the author Dean Whitaker. Further description:

This book is written to assist the collector and/or devotee of the "pre-'64" Model 70 Winchester in his or her efforts to evaluate a favorite rifle, or to assemble a collection. The "Pre-64" Model 70, known and admired the world over, is today more in demand than ever. Popular since its inception with shooters and custom gunsmiths, it has, in recent years, become increasingly popular with collectors and investors as well. Developed and first marketed during the lean Depression years of the 1930's, the rifle became an instant success for a variety of reasons. These sell on Ebay for between $200-300+, depending on condition (revised 1st Ed. going for $175+).
