I'm looking at putting together a collection of bushings to ride inside the bore. I want to use these to indicate off of when dialing in the muzzle or a barrel that has been chambered in something smaller. What sizes would I need for the common cals?
6mm = .2345" + .2350"
257 =
6.5mm =
7mm =
30 = .2995" + .3000"
338 =
358 = .3495" + .350"
Help me fill in the blanks or correct the info I have if it is wrong.

Would that be loose in the common .237 bore of a 6mm? 6mm = .2345" + .2350"

It might be, I thought the 6mm was .235". If .237" is the norm, I will use those #'s instead.

Can't go wrong purchasing any one of these sets.

The barrel makers usually spec their bore diameters. Try Kreiger's website. 6mm is either .236 or .237 bore depending on maker. No guarantee that they will all be that number to 0.00000" though. That is why reamer bushings come in .0001 or .0002" increments.

Kreiger and maybe Bartlein list either .236 or .237 bore. As stated, they are not exactly either size. That is why I have Deltronic pins for ea. caliber in .0001" increments. Figure most MFG. have the .237. My pins have a .237 nominal with 12 on ea. side in .0001 increments. That makes my .237set start at .2388-.2712. You can get reamer bushings from the reamer mfgs.
