That looks great! How's the recoil on that big bore?

Recoil is stout with my best handload. It is a nosler 260 grain accubond loaded to 2600 fps. The rifle only weighs a little over 7 1/2 pounds loaded and ready to go. I would say no more than a good 300 winchested load in felt recoil.

Very nice rifle, caliber and paint!
A buddy of mine has a couple of Kevin Weaver's rifles and loves them.

Sure looks like Kevin has things figured out. Heard he is a great gunsmith. Congrats on a beautiful build.

That 375, looks kinda nice. I never thought about the .375 when I was having thoughts-- .338 or .35 caliber for an 06 case. I went with .338-06 it works great, I'm happy with it.
Again, that's a nice looking rifle.

Believe it or not I have transitioned over the last 25 years. First was a 338-06 in the early 90's. Then a 35 Whelan in the 2000's and now a 375-06 since 2013. Liked them all and they work well on all north American game.
