Just upgraded from a 16hp Kubota. Just like driving a cadillac. Mahindra by weimsnks, on Flickr Nice! What HP? . 41 hp. 4110 model. I almost bought the 62 hp 2wd model but it wouldn't fit in the garage and my truck and trailer wouldn't be enough to haul it around. The bushhog weighs 1100lbs so I have to drop the bucket to haul it This one only fits in the garage because of the fold down rops.

That's a good looking tractor. Let us know how she performs.

Had this. But after a few years the 2wd was just too helpless, too often. So I bought this. 4x4 as someone else said, a dream to operate.

I never claimed to be smart........ But "SAFETY FIRST" is my battle cry. P.S. I do have a chain and binder on the back.... and a come-a-long over the bucket. The atv straps were to keep the SP off my case.

huntsman22: very cool tractor - I've never seen a single armed bucket before. Thanks for posting.
I'm not just interested in the 8N though. I find almost any old tractor interesting. Never saw one either, very unique! Here either, yes, it is.

Taking a break?.... The knothead was snoozing away in the drivers seat the whole time I was slaving my azz off digging flood-packed tumbleweeeds outta the watergap. It finally dried out enuff to get that nasty chore done. But the pup IS a good supervisor.

Bought 117 acres last year that is literally loaded with whitetails, turkeys, bear, elk and mule deer. The first picture is of the trailer I put on the property to stay in when we go over to work and play. Some of the property in the background. Needed to get something to use on the place without breaking the bank. Found a nice original 1955 Ford 640 tractor (31-33 hp)with a pretty beefy Rhino brushhog. It also has power steering which is fairly uncommon on these old Fords. I then I watched craigslist and picked up several implements that would be of use. In addition top whats shown in the pictures I also snagged a practically new Woods post hole auger and three bits. Planned use primarily small food plots, road/gravel leveling. fence posts, etc. http://s98.photobucket.com/user/SS30ANV/media/Daytonacres54_zpsrqn9cjpf.jpg.html] http://s98.photobucket.com/user/SS30ANV/media/1955Ford640_zpscf9zar4h.jpg.html] http://s98.photobucket.com/user/SS30ANV/media/2bottomplow_zpso1hc3d00.jpg.html] http://s98.photobucket.com/user/SS30ANV/media/2disc_zpsjnttjztk.jpg.html] http://s98.photobucket.com/user/SS30ANV/media/2cultivator_zpsrn9n1f1h.jpg.html] http://s98.photobucket.com/user/SS30ANV/media/2blade72_zpsqbibpj2s.jpg.html]
