I didn't have leading issues for several decades with my own formula beeswax / alox lubes, but I only shoot coated now because it's a lot cleaner overall...the more you shoot the cleaner it is. No smoke either...pretty much just a jacket alternative.

35 whelen 2500 fps, wqww, sized and lubed with gc.

good fit, 14t barrel

200gr rcbs

good accuracy at 100yds

you should have fun with the whelen. I do.
