25 WSSM ammo is hard to find, or was a few weeks ago. One of my wife's cousins, bid up to $55 for 18 on ebay and quit. The 18 sold for $75. My BIL told me about the shortage and I found an online site and ordered the cousin 2 boxes. I called to tell him and he said that site didnt have any the week before. Guess I just got lucky. Maybe 22 mag is in short supply.

We have a local auction house that runs a lot of online auctions with guns and ammo. They're an FFL so they can do it all inhouse. Instead of the seller paying a commission, they tack on a 30% premium that the buyer pays. Prices for ammo get ridiculously high bids and when you add on that 30%, it's completely nuts what people will pay for ammo.

This is a joke, right? I know it's hard to find but it's starting to show up here and there. I just bought 50 rounds last week in case I decide to put the 22 Mag cylinder back in my Ruger Single Six convertible.

Might still be a good deal even with shipping, a friend just told me he saw 22 mag for $24 a box at LGS.
