Occasionally this site freezes up on my desktop (Mac) which doesn't happen with any other sites I visit. Today on my company phone, (iphone 6) I started navigating the Campfire without logging in, just checking things out, and the screen filled with a damn porn site. Got rid of it and it didn't come back, but... not something I want happening on my work phone. Also have gotten those "congratulations you win" pop ups on my work phone here....never get them on any other site.

If you dont want the problems associated from flash media and mall ware you must run Add block

It really is that simple

I guess my question would be, why is it just this site where I ever experience this stuff?

Wow I had this problem too. Just for the last week or so. I thought that I had Adblock, but after looking a little closer I realized that it wasn't on this new laptop that I just got a couple of months ago yet -- so I installed it right away. I left the site for about ten minutes and watched a FOX youtube in anther tab. When I came back here, I was still on this thread and noticed I had the little stop sign up above. By clicking it, I see Adblock stopped 89 ads on this site in that short time. Tabbing back to Youtube I see it blocked 2 there. Those of you that think this site is ravaged by ads and malware are right, fix it fast. Those of you that think it's "safe" here aren't even close.

Finally downloaded Adblocker Plus....made a huge difference
