I vote in a rural area. The November 8th election saw about 400 people vote in my precinct. This election was around 100. Very disappointing turnout.

I've known John Kennedy since the mid '80's when I was on the Louisiana Board of Regents and he was on Gov. Buddy Roemer's staff, working closely with the Regents on higher education matters.
He's a solid guy and will do us a good job. And, he's nobody's fool, for sure...

Solid ass whipping by Kennedy. I hope we can keep the momentum up nation wide in 2018 when 25 or so Democrat senate seats will be up for grabs!

We now have a great opportunity to put America back on track. It will require that those we put in power stand as a united front. The Democrats changed the rules,even after being warned. This is not the time to make nice. This is the time to act in the best interest of the country. If they want to get on board fine if not tough. WE need to show them, "Elections have consequences". If our people wimp out, and cave they will not fair well in the future.
There are no problems that cannot be resolved by the suitable application of high explosive.

Without the Harry Reed "nuclear option" he pulled the trigger on, we'll never get the Supreme Court Justices we need, will end up compromising with another John Roberts, maybe worse... Not a Scalia, for sure...  Dems set the standard, opened this can of worms, let them squeal...  They didn't (don't) "play nice", and now we should..??? Someone needs to have a "come to Jesus" meeting with McCain and Graham, make them a deal they can't refuse. They need to be on board as the train leaves the station. DF
