Is the balance on your Tikka towards the nose or the ass like a SL?

Remington is in dire need of an overhaul.... Gonna be awhile before I buy any new manufactured Remington products.

I was going to type to many accountants in the gun biz, but I think it is worse than that. Maybe its foreign influence or something. Wish I had an answer.
I wish sometimes we could go back in time. Growing up in the 60s here in Connecticut before the great liberal revolution I knew guys who worked in all the major companies, Winchester, Marlin, Remington you name it they had a presence in my club and it was exciting to see and hear them talk. We will never see that again I am afraid.

Is the balance on your Tikka towards the nose or the ass like a SL? Sorry for delay, 16! Slightly nose w Six rounds in mag, no can. Definitely nose with Harvester screwed on. 10 rounds in it more even, but then it's nearly 10.5 pounds.

Remington has been doing this for almost 20 years with their LTR and then later their XCR CT.

It is still a "parts rifle", yes. Dull stainless would have made much more sense. I've got a 22" SS 7005R in that Mag-Pul stock and find it quite user-friendly, even though it is not visually stunning......
Now with even more aplomb

That's one of the ugliest damn rifles I've ever seen. Winner. Not quite as ugly as the Choate, but they tried..... Kaiser Norton

I will stick with a Tikka over the Remington. Me too. Tikka CTR does it all at just 7.5 lbs. Oh my Christ that rifle is hideous. What is that goiter hanging down from the stock in front of the trigger guard? Goiter. LOVE IT.

Looked at a 6.5 CM CTR last night. First thought was "how the hell is this so light?" The new T3x's are nice. New stocks are money and dig the modular grip deal.

How about 4 direct hits... and one "miss" with the load it's actually sighted in with? Miss was assuredly mine, not the gun's.... About 5 minutes prior to the one above...
