Sitting in the chair, watching TV and googling, I thought I felt a breeze around my feet.

Felt colder too. (ok- now I'll finish this - computer went hinky).

Checked baseboards - on. Soon I heard wind whistling around the corner of the house.

Yep, it's coming up from near dead calm - and it's 33 below out there. Probably near -50 wind chill by now.

Pineapple Express is coming tho - should have our temps above zero by mid-week.

Chart says wind chill is -58. Better call the wife (at work) and warn her - she has almost a mile to walk.

Wow! That is cooold! I think the wind chill factor gets overplayed a lot but sure not when the real temp is anywhere near that low!

Get your lady to bundle up in some caribou skins, huh.

The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

Now that's a good wife, walking home from work in minus 60 wind chills.

I don't ever want to hear mine complain about her 50 yard walk to the employee parking lot. Geez.

Did you tell her to stop and pick you up a 12 pack? grin

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.
