Agreed....I love that chit.
Probably because not even a culinary hack like me can screw it up.

PS....my secret ingredient is a good sprinkle of Tony's about mid way.

Don't know of much of anything doesn't get better with a sprinkle of Tony's.

Tonight's supper Lazy Cabbage rolls

Sliced a small red cabbage

Chopped up a medium-sized red onion

5 cloves garlic

5 Roma tomatoes blanched peeled and chopped.

1 lb ground beef browned

Couple teaspoons cooking oil bottom of the Dutch oven.

Once it's not add cabbage and onion salt and pepper toss and fry for a few minutes.

Add in the chopped garlic and the Roma tomatoes. Cup of so of tomato juice and a cup of water.

Season again with salt and pepper, then add in the browned ground beef.

Simmer until Cabbage is tender.

25 minutes before eating I add another cup of water and a cup of tomato juice.

Bring to a rolling boil. Then add I'd a cup of white rice.

Stir occasionally. When the rice is cooked it's ready to serve. With your favorite salad and some dark the bread.

I need to have a bit of fun/give you a hard time Denny.

The invite to fish NW Ontario still stands, and, they make wine in Ontario "eh"?

Denny, and all, I'll quote Proverbs, 15:17, King James, "Better is dinner of herbs where love is, than a fattened ox with hatred."
My take, a little good natured fun is good for digestion.

It can't as long as it's fried in bacon grease.
