Gave my UNI away after I used the Chargemaster Lite a while.
I measured some throws with H-380 38.5 grains / 22-250 one was 1.3gr. light, that was the last straw. Cheap plastic Lee measure did about the same. Only commies use powder measures......
How many of you Lazy-Boy quarterbacks ever tried to manage a classroom full of ghetto gangbangers and "special ed" students? I did it for 30-something years, and retired in 2011 after teachig vocational trade subjects in a school with 3K+ students and 10 acres under the roof. The campus was about 80 acres. We had two onsite cops to patrol all that area. Do the job yourself for a while, and then tell us who survived the incompetent administrators and dangerous gangbangers how to do our jobs. Otherwise, STFU. Talk is cheap!
You surely aren't saying our public education cannot be improved. What are your ideas? I'd also like to hear how you would propose evaluating teacher performance so the good ones could be justly compensated.
This is a somewhat local case, so I have to assume most of you don't know details. I hope the defendant get life behind bars.
Well don't share....
Miu (the defendant) punched one gal and stabbed another gal, both were in their 20's. Neither gal was even in the group that Miu was arguing with. After being arrested he made up a whopper of a tale regarding what happened, and then was surprised that it was videoed by someone on the scene. Miu started everything that happened and is desperately trying to justify it after the fact.
Can you provide a link to that video? Not being an ass, but that is not the videos I've seen and if there is more out there, it needs to be plastered everywhere.
To clarify, most of mine are CRFs from the 1990s, I thought BACO was after that but not sure really?
You are correct, as BSA detailed above.
Prior to BACO the “classic” designated the CRF; as PF and CRPF were made concurrently. The classic moniker was dropped in the last year of New Haven production (2006 catalog no longer has the classic designation); the BACO rifles are all are CRF.
New Haven didn’t produce a factory CRF 7 x 57 offering post 64.
Good info.
Back when I was buying every M70 I could (1990s) I immediately took them to my smith for new barrels, trigger work and bedding, often I'd buy the rifle for the receiver/stock only. No particular reason, just wanted to own rifles that were semi-custom (that may be a stretch) and something unique. Rifles in picture all had Shilen or Douglas barrels, mostly depending on what the smith could get his hands on at the time. Roger Ferrell in GA, member of the ACGG did all of the work. He handbuilds beautiful safari rifles from the receiver up but was never too busy or costly to work on my basic stuff, really great guy, did one for me a few years ago.
Three pictured were 257 Roberts, on 257 Wby, one 240 Wby, a 250-3000 compact. Sold most of them to members of the Campfire, kept the 270, 7mm RM and 25-05 which is on a 30-06. Mostly I would say it was entertainment which I enjoyed immensely. Selling off much of my collection, I put the money in better scopes, new DIY builds and other rifle projects.
A guy in my academy class was quickly shown the door when he scratched his itchy scalp with his gun hand - revolver in hand. Stupidest thing I've ever seen.
Self professed Christians with their warped interpretations of Jesus' simple teachings and their reliance on the codicils authored by the 13th self appointed apostle do more than anyone or anything else to reassure atheists and agnostics the validity of their doubts of a God or supernatural creator.
Pretend (fake) Jews shouldn’t throw stones from the glass house they’re in. The atheists don’t want there to be a God. Period. It has zero to do with Jesus’ hand-picked apostle Paul. Your psychobabble Hebrew Roots movement theology is nuttier than a squirrel turd, and that’s clearly recognized by the one’s you denigrate as “self-professed” Christian’s.

ALL “Christian” denominations are in agreement that salvation comes by God’ grace alone, through faith in Jesus alone ~ putting one’s trust and confidence in Jesus alone. Not cherry-pickin’ a tiny fragment of rules from the Mosaic Law to abide by and callin’ it good. The Abrahamic Covenant is still in effect. But the old covenant (the Mosaic Law) isn’t ~ just as Jesus Himself made crystal clear.

Hell half or more of them around here, can't even read a book that most of us would understand, when we were in the 5th and 6th grade. Kids aren't dumb... the liberal left teach them to be stupid....
Glad she's doing OK. A big F you to the azzwipes who think that folks over a certain age shouldn't have the right of self-defense. I'm the same age and, though I've slowed down a bit, I can still think clearly and shoot well. Also wise enough to hope I'm never put to the test.
I went to school in the late 1950s and thru the entire 1960s. Graduating high school in 1970.
At least return to the education system, that I went thru in the 1960s. Where we learned about "Civics", true history and not revisionist history to make the politically correct crowd happy, math at an early age, proper English etc.
The school system I went thru in High School, was the 20th highest rated in the entire nation at the time. Fairfax County VA, right outside of DC. My high school was the highest rated high school in the county at the time, out of 17 High Schools.
We were required to graduate with 16 credits, but the door was open to graduate with as high as 24 credits, which I did. We had advanced mathmatics available, which I took 6 levels of Algebra, and in foreign languages, I took two years of French in my freshman year in advanced classes, and then took 6 years worth of German in 3 years, taking advanced classes. Heck I use to think in German even. Those were available.
95% of my senior class attended college in the fall of 1970.
Education system is a joke, just about anywhere in this nation anymore. Colleges are worse. You pay big bucks for your kids to be indoctrinated into the democRATic Socialist System, "the liberal" leftists want to adopt. Our founders of this country are probably rolling over in their graves, at 10,000 RPMs in what our current society standards have turned their nation into.
