I understand. My uncle sent me a 1981 vintage 336 .30-30. I love that rifle. I took off the cheap scope and mounted an aperture. It shoots three-shot cloverleaves at 50 yards with PPU 170s. I have several rifles. When I open the gun cabinet, it is the first rifle I pick up. I would love a matching .35 Rem to go with it.

My Marlin was my go-to rifle also. I gave it to one of my daughters, miss them both at times.
