My best friend from college moved back to Texas after being in Colorado and California for 30 years. He and his wife (native Californian) couldn't get out of there fast enough after they retired. Fortunately, he and his wife are conservative and Trump voters. He needs to vote “yes” to the income tax thing this fall. Is worded weird but if it passes they would have to do a constitutional amendment to do an income tax in the future. If the “no’s” win then a simple vote would allow them to tax income in the future
