Do you have white Pine, Basswood, Catalpa, Poplar, white or western Cedar? Almost any wood light enough to float will provide action if shaped right. Same thing for sinking lures. The shape and weight distribution makes it work. Floaters look like they need some weight or they won't stay upright. I would still like to buy a Lazy Ike for a sample. Does anyone have one they would part with? It was billed as a trolling lure. But I used them for years as a bass killer in ponds and lakes in Misery. I don't care what the size is.
