the spyderco hole is appreciated more now that arthritis is creeping into my thumb.
I have become a fan of the Spyderco hole as well. While not arthritic yet, my big hands don't do well with small studs. I know some people don't like the aesthetics of most Spyderco's, but the large hole works well for me. Definitely a "form follows function" design.
