Subtitled 'The Texas Victory That Changed American History'.
This book gives quite a bit of background information on the major characters in this era who were involved in Texas becoming independent and then a state and a lot of info on the Alamo and then the Goliad massacre and on to the Battle of San Jacinto. It brought back a lot of history that I had forgotten, The ruthlessness of Santa Anna would have fit in with that of most tyrants.
It is only 232 pages long but has references of 25 pages. Some of the references just cry out to be read.
Worth a read if you care for American history.
