I’ve got a Kimber Montana In 30-06 I need to rebarrel, looking at these 2 options. Leaning towards the 240 Roy, looking to shoot Barnes bullets in either one. Going to be using it for hunting Texas Hill country deer, AKA not very big
If you were going to build a lightweight deer rifle in this caliber range, what would you do? Caliber, Barrel length, twist rate?
